- Order and Group Purchase Process
- Prices displayed on our website are in AUD and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
b. By joining a group purchase or placing an order, you agree to pay the listed price and applicable charges. - Participation in any group purchase offer is subject to specific conditions, including meeting a minimum threshold of orders to proceed. Reaching this threshold does not guarantee fulfillment, as additional factors such as order reviews, quality checks, compliance verification, and logistical considerations may impact completion. Until these conditions are satisfied, no order is considered confirmed or guaranteed by GroupMart.
- All payments for group purchases are processed in full at the time of joining.
- If a group purchase does not proceed or if you withdraw before the minimum threshold is met, the full payment will be refunded to the original payment method. Refunds are typically processed within 3–5 business days, but may take up to 10 business days during periods of high refund volumes, operational delays, or external factors such as banking or payment processor issues. Customers will be notified of any delays beyond this period and provided with an expected resolution timeframe.
- GroupMart reserves the right to cancel any group purchase at any stage, including after the minimum number of orders required for the offer to proceed has been met. In such cases, the full payment will be refunded to the original payment method.
- GroupMart is not liable for financial losses arising from delays inherent to the group purchase process, including delays in reaching the target order quantity, order processing, or delivery timelines, except where required by law.
h. Participants may withdraw from a group purchase while the offer remains in ‘Waiting for More Orders’ status. The amount paid will be refunded in full. Withdrawals and refunds are not permitted once the minimum order count is reached unless required by Australian Consumer Law.
i. GroupMart may, at its discretion, proceed with the processing of a group purchase offer at any stage, without requiring fulfillment of the group total order requirement.
j. All sales are final and non-refundable, except where stated in the product description or our Terms of Sale. This policy does not affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law, which may entitle you to a refund, repair, or replacement if goods are faulty, unfit for purpose, or don’t match their description. - We accept no responsibility for any loss or damage you incur due to non-receipt of electronic notifications or communications from us, except where required by Australian Consumer Law.
- It is your responsibility to review the Product Information and any other details we provide for any item listed on the Site. Please do not rely solely on the title summary or photographs of the item.
- You must not engage in any form of group order manipulation, including artificially joining a group to create the impression of greater participation or proximity to the order goal. Such actions are prohibited as they compromise the integrity of the ordering process and may result in cancellation of your orders or account restrictions.
- If an item is described on the Site as faulty, damaged, or used, you acknowledge and accept that condition when choosing to purchase it. To the extent permitted under Australian Consumer Law, we accept no liability for the condition of such items.
- Delivery Terms and Address Requirements
- The nominated delivery address must be a valid residential or commercial street address and cannot be a PO box or storage facility.
- When a group purchase offer transitions to fulfillment, delivery address or collection location changes are no longer accepted. GroupMart is not responsible for delivery issues due to address modifications made after this stage.
- Once we have delivered the item to the mailing address specified by you during the checkout process, provided it is in the expected condition in accordance with Australian Consumer Law guarantees, the risk of loss or damage transfers to you. GroupMart will not be liable for any loss or damage occurring after delivery to the specified mailing address. This clause applies only to addresses chosen as delivery destinations during checkout and does not include GroupMart-designated local pickup points.
- If we are unable to complete delivery to your nominated address for reasons outside our control (e.g., no one is available to receive the item), we will contact you to arrange redelivery or collection. Additional fees may apply for redelivery or extended storage.
- We may request a signature or delivery confirmation for certain items.
- Withdrawing from a Group
- Refunds under this section apply to cancellations or withdrawals from group purchases and are separate from refunds for returned items, which are addressed in Section 13
- While waiting for the group order minimum to be met, you may withdraw from any joined group, and we will fully refund the amount you paid to us on our website. This refund excludes any additional fees or charges incurred through banks or payment providers.
- Once the group order goal is met, withdrawals, cancellations, and refunds are no longer available, except as required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Processing cancellation requests for eligible group purchases will follow the refund timelines specified in Section 8.
- While we strive to provide reliable auto-leave functionality, it may not always be available due to technical or maintenance issues. Customers are responsible for monitoring their group purchase participation, and GroupMart accepts no liability for disruptions caused by such issues.
- When you leave a group, all your associated orders linked to that group, including those placed at different times, will be cancelled. In case of a technical issue, please review your orders and contact us if any remain active.
- GroupMart reserves the right to limit or restrict the ability to withdraw from group purchases for users engaging in excessive cancellations or actions deemed disruptive to group purchasing integrity.”
- Collection of Your Order from a Pickup Point
- You are required to present valid identification when collecting your order from a designated pickup point.
- You must collect your order within 30 days from the date of our notification confirming that your item is ready for pickup. It is your responsibility to be aware of and adhere to the available collection hours of the designated pickup location.
- Should you fail to collect your item within the specified 30-day period, your item will be deemed forfeited, with no refund or further rights to the item. We reserve the right to impose disposal fees and reasonable costs, including administrative and handling charges. Where possible, these fees may be deducted from your original payment method, or you will receive an invoice for the outstanding amount. You are responsible for maintaining accurate contact information and regularly checking for notifications.
- When collecting items from the designated pickup point, you must comply with:
- any instructions or warnings provided by us or anyone authorized by us;
- any directions or warnings regarding the goods or their location in the Item Page or other specified documentation; and
- any site-specific collection guidelines.
- Responsibility for the goods’ condition transfers to you upon collection; please inspect all items at pickup.
- Abandonment and Disposal of Uncollected Goods
- You must collect your item within 30 days from the date we notify you that it is ready for pickup. Failure to do so may result in the item being deemed abandoned, as per applicable state or territory laws.
- If your item is deemed abandoned, or if storage fees remain unpaid after the due date, we may dispose of or resell it in accordance with applicable laws. Proceeds from resale may be retained by us, except where a refund is required by law after deducting handling, storage, administration, and disposal costs.
- Storage fees may apply if your item remains uncollected beyond the initial collection period. The fees will vary based on the type and size of the goods, as well as the duration of storage. These fees will either be deducted from your original payment method or invoiced to you directly. We reserve the right to withhold the item until all outstanding fees are paid in full.
- Returns and Refunds
- Refunds under this section apply to items that have been received by the customer and are returned in accordance with Australian Consumer Law or our Returns and Refunds policy. These timelines differ from those for cancellations or withdrawals from group purchases, which are addressed in Section 8.
- In addition to any rights you have as a consumer under the Australian Consumer Law, we will permit an item purchased to be returned to us if:
(i) the item differs from its description,
• (ii) we are responsible for delivery and the item was delivered to you in a damaged state, or
• (iii) the item was faulty upon receipt and identified promptly after minimal use.
- Customers must notify GroupMart of any issues with their order (e.g., damage or incorrect item) within 7 days of receipt. If the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., incorrect item, damaged goods), GroupMart will cover the return shipping costs.
- Change-of-mind returns are not accepted.
- Items should be returned in original packaging where possible.
- Refunds for returned items will be processed within 30 days of receiving and verifying the returned item. This timeframe allows us to thoroughly inspect the item and ensure it meets the requirements outlined in our Returns and Refunds policy.
- If you return an item claiming it was damaged during transit, we will inspect and test it to verify the claim. If, after reasonable inspection, we determine that the item was not damaged in transit, you will be responsible for covering the cost of return shipping back to your address. We will notify you of the required shipping charges, and the item will be held until payment is received. If payment for these charges is not made within 30 days, the item may be retained in storage, and you may forfeit your right to reclaim it in accordance with applicable laws.
- This policy does not exclude or limit your rights under Australian Consumer Law, including guarantees that goods will be of acceptable quality, fit for purpose, and match their description.
- GroupMart will notify customers of any delays beyond this period, providing an expected resolution timeframe.
- Manufacturer’s Liability
In addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law, we are not responsible for the content, fulfilment, or enforcement of any manufacturer’s warranty on items sold. It is your responsibility to contact the manufacturer directly for any warranty claims. The manufacturer’s warranty is provided separately and does not limit your consumer rights.

- We are not responsible for any failed attempts to join or exit a group purchase that are not received, processed, or confirmed due to technological issues, including issues with our Site, systems, or those arising from users’ own devices, software, or internet connections.
